The pub is the story.

Returning to Ireland after more than a decade in Canada, Dan Finnegan took a chance on Dalkey in 1970. That decision became Finnegan’s Sorrento Lounge, a pub shaped by family, craft and character.

Family runDan’s sons Donal, Paul and Alan have all played their part in the life of the business.
Victorian characterThe original facade, ornate roof, stained glass and back bar remain central to the identity of the pub.
Lunch traditionPaul Finnegan opened the kitchen in 1989, introducing the lunches that became part of Finnegans’ reputation.
